This is a hybrid position in Draper, Utah (M, W, F in-office).
What You'll Do- Own and manage Canopy's daily operations in Zuora.
- Design and optimize workflows for billing, subscription management and financial reporting, with a focus on automation, scalability, and accuracy.
- Strategize and build the vision for how Canopy uses Zuora.
- Anticipate business needs and deliver functionality to support new product launches, pricing changes, and internal process changes.
- Drive seamless cross-system integrations and data flows across business systems.
- Identify and implement AI-powered automation to improve data accuracy, efficiency, and user experience.
- Partner with system owners and business stakeholders to align tools with complete, end-to-end business processes within Zuora.
- Communicate solutions and tradeoffs clearly to both technical and business audiences.
- Build and maintain documentation on system architecture, processes, and integrations.
- Streamline processes, improve usability, and reduce manual work through automation and AI-driven solutions.
- Identify gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For- 3 years of experience owning Zuora or another billing system (Chargebee, Maxio, etc). 5+ years of experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline
- Strong system design fundamentals with a proven hands-on record of solving business problems.
- Direct, deep experience with quote-to-cash processes, billing system design, and business operations in a SaaS environment.
Bonus Points - Clear, confident communication skills, able to translate technical constraints into business language and vice versa for audiences of all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to produce technical artifacts and documentation.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and data modeling.
