We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst IV to join our Information Technology team in Boone or North Wilkesboro, NC. Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan's Purse are to help people in Jesus' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

In the role of Business Systems Analyst IV, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ.
  • Analyze business processes and recommend system, process, and customer service improvements, innovative solutions, and policy changes; manage projects and process improvements using data, change management practices, and established project plans to achieve organizational goals.
  • Provide production support and system maintenance by researching and resolving business systems issues, coordinating upgrades and patches with functional and technical teams, maintaining system tables and data integrity, and documenting processes and results.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for system enhancements; develop and execute test plans, coordinate user acceptance, and work with business owners and subject matter experts to validate and implement solutions.
  • Develop, maintain, and support reports and queries using appropriate reporting tools, analyzing data to meet customer needs, support decision-making, and maintain system data integrity.
  • Train and guide system users by developing procedures, guidelines, and documentation; mentor and develop Business Systems Analysts while maintaining current knowledge of business systems, technologies, industry trends, and professional practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What are the qualifications?

As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:
  • Bachelor's degree with a major in Information Technology, Information Systems or related field, and at least seven (7) or more years of experience supporting related business systems; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of core business systems and related business processes, including Human Resources, Finance, Logistics, Procurement, Asset Management, and Inventory.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of business systems analysis processes and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), with strong experience in application testing, configuration, and deployment.
  • Ability to analyze solutions and process flows from a broad, organizational perspective, identifying opportunities to streamline operations and improve system efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, contribute and exchange ideas, take direction, and communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Ability to lead, guide, and mentor members of a high-functioning team while prioritizing competing needs and supporting evolving service requirements.
