We are currently seeking a Business Partner Sr. Specialist Advisor to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina (US-NC), United States (US).

People & Culture Consultant, M&A and Deal Support

Position Summary

The People & Culture (P&C) Consultant, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Deal Support role provides advisory, analytical, and execution support across mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, rebadges, outsourcing transactions, employee transfers, and strategic client pursuits. The role partners with business leaders, Corporate Development, Legal, Finance, regional P&C teams, and Centers of Excellence to conduct due diligence, assess workforce impacts and costs, coordinate employee transitions, and support Day 1 readiness and post-close integration.

Key Responsibilities

M&A, Deal Support, and Workforce Transition
  • Support P&C activities across the transaction lifecycle, including due diligence, workforce planning, employee transfers, rebadges, integration, and strategic deal pursuits.
  • Partner with transaction stakeholders, P&C Strategic Business Partners, regional P&C teams and Centers of Excellence to coordinate workforce assessments, employee transition requirements, communications, and related deliverables.

Due Diligence, Risk Assessment, and Analytics
  • Gather, validate, and analyze workforce, organizational, compensation, benefits, incentive, contingent workforce, and related people data.
  • Translate findings into clear assessments of workforce risk, financial exposure, organizational dependencies, and retention considerations, partnering with Legal and other specialists as appropriate.
  • Prepare diligence reports, workforce models, executive materials, risk registers, mitigation plans, and recommendations supporting transaction decisions.

Integration and Transaction Execution
  • Coordinate Day 1 readiness and post-close integration activities across payroll, benefits, HRIS, compensation, talent, communications, employee relations, mobility, learning, and related workstreams.
  • Manage assigned transaction workstreams, milestones, risks, decisions, and deliverables across multiple concurrent engagements, escalating material issues as appropriate.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Organizational Development, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Human Resources, consulting, project management, transaction support, or a related discipline.
  • Experience supporting M&A, divestitures, workforce transitions, employee transfers, rebadges, integrations, or other complex P&C initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, project management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex workforce information into clear business insights and recommendations.
  • Experience working across global, cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to travel, as needed, to support diligence, client engagements, and integration activities.
