Full Job Description
The Role | Business Operations, Product
You will be the human face of our product with the people who use it and buy it. Most weeks, you'll be on the ground with customers - walking their plants and back offices, sitting with CFOs, controllers, and materials planners, and showing them, in their own language, what AI changes about how they work.
This is not a sales job, and we are not looking for a salesperson. The best sellers aren't salespeople - they're sharp, curious people others trust. You'll win business by building real person-to-person relationships and by being the clearest thinker in the room.
What You'll Do
• Own relationships with customers and prospects, from first conversation through deployment and expansion
• Run working sessions with finance and operations leaders; map our product to their actual processes - accounts payable, material planning, procurement, close
• Translate technical and AI concepts into business terms - margin, working capital, revenue - for non-technical audiences
• Bring what you learn in the field back to the product team and help shape the roadmap
• Travel to customer sites, primarily in the Midwest and South - up to five days a week
What We Require
• 2-5 years of experience, likely at a management consultancy (McKinsey, Bain, BCG) or technology consultancy (Deloitte, Accenture, PwC, KPMG)
• Sharp on your feet - you hold your own in a room of skeptical operators and are comfortable with direct pushback
• AI native - fluent in current tools and concepts, and clear-eyed about what's real versus hype
• Intellectually curious about how businesses actually run, down to the process level
• A people-first communicator - you build genuine connection first; commercial outcomes follow
