Full Job Description
The Business Intelligence Architects 2 designs, builds, and maintains scalable data processing architectures and pipelines that enable the efficient transformation of structured and unstructured data into actionable insights at the enterprise level. This role develops and supports data solutions aligned with business requirements, ensuring data quality, reliability, and performance. Work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation, critical thinking, and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

We are seeking a talented Business Intelligence Architects 2 to join our development team!

Responsibilities will include regular pair programming sessions and code reviews of medium scale work, thoroughly testing and clearly documenting code, and explaining details of the work. The candidate must understand the concepts of normalized relational data structures, write and maintain modular code for automation, including SQL stored procedures and ETLs, in accordance with best practices, and develop an understanding of the team's underlying technology stack.

Because the needs of our business segment change frequently, assignments are varied and often require interpretation. This position requires developing a solid general knowledge of the business, including how operations work and primary points of contact. The ideal candidate would leverage subject matter experts and other resources to learn the business, and actually look forward to working in the face of ambiguity to solve business problems. We can teach a successful candidate a new technology stack, if necessary, but we need someone who will take the initiative to dive deep into data to answer questions for customers.

The Business Intelligence Architects II:
  • Standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software with Python and SQL queries.
  • Oversees testing and debugging and develops fixes.
  • Research complaints and makes necessary adjustments and/or recommendations to resolve complex software related issues.
  • Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas.
  • Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed.
  • Follows established guidelines/procedures.
  • This role requires a high level of reliability, strong sense of responsibility, and a data-driven mindset.
  • Ability to effectively manage and deliver on ad hoc and time-sensitive projects.

  • 3-5 years of demonstrated software development experience or equivalent education
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
  • Procedural language for automation - python
  • SQL query development, ETL support
  • Ability to develop modular, reusable code and tools


Preferred Qualifications
  • Open-source contributions
  • Experience in healthcare, insurance or risk adjustment
  • PowerApp and PowerBI experience
  • Databricks experience
  • Ability to work in office 1-2 days per week (local candidates preferred)

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$80,900 - $110,300 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
