Business Development Manager

What you will enjoy doing*

  • You will be responsible for identifying, developing, andsecuring new business opportunities using technical expertise and the Lindetechnologies portfolio.
  • Grow industrial gases and equipment sales in the West Regionthrough value-based technical and consultative selling.
  • Acquire new and expand existing customers throughprospecting, lead qualification, market strategy, business case development,proposal creation, and technology-based pricing recommendations.
  • Provide technical sales support and oversee projectimplementation and start-up to ensure successful customeronboarding.
  • Analyze markets and industry activity including niches,regional economic trends, competition, and product application opportunities.
  • Initiate and execute growth campaigns, market initiatives,and customer communication strategies.
  • Monitor competitive activity and develop response strategiesbased on market intelligence and Linde's technology differentiators.
  • Develop customer and industry relationships includingprospects, consultants, and vendors.
  • Collaborate with internal technical and commercial teamsincluding Sales, Linde Technology (LT), National BD, Applications Equipment,and Customer Service.
  • Leverage internal resources to support opportunitydevelopment and sales strategy execution.
  • Participate in regional and national sales strategydevelopment with business development, key account teams, and sales leadership.
  • Support assigned industries including Heat Treatment,Additive Manufacturing, Automotive, Aerospace, Metals, Glass, Food,Electronics, and Semiconductor.
  • Operate from Arizona with preference for Phoenix or Tempe;compensation includes base, commission schedule, and company vehicle.
