Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Growth
• Develop and execute strategic growth plans to increase revenue across injection molding, compression molding, thermoset molding, precision tooling, and value-added manufacturing services.
• Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities with OEMs, contract manufacturers, and engineering-driven organizations.
• Generate and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities through prospecting, networking, trade shows, industry associations, and customer visits.
• Drive account penetration and diversification within existing customers while developing new customer relationships.
• Lead opportunity qualification, quoting strategy, contract negotiations, and commercial discussions.
Market & Industry Development

Technical Sales Leadership

• Understand and communicate molding processes, tooling requirements, resin selection, validation requirements, manufacturing constraints, and commercial considerations.
• Support customers throughout product development, tooling design, sampling, validation, transfer, launch, and production phases.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers regarding manufacturability, cost optimization, and supply chain strategies.
Medical Device & Regulated Industry Development
• Develop and manage commercial relationships within FDA-regulated and highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• Understand customer requirements related to:
• FDA regulations
• ISO 13485
• GMP requirements
• Product validation and qualification
• Design controls
• Process Validation (IQ/OQ/PQ)
• Risk management
• Change control
• Traceability requirements
• Partner with Quality and Regulatory teams to support customer audits, qualification activities, and supplier approvals.
• Promote the organization's quality systems and regulatory compliance capabilities.
Customer Relationship Management
• Establish relationships with executive leadership, engineering teams, purchasing organizations, program managers, and supply chain professionals.
• Conduct regular business reviews and executive-level customer meetings.
• Maintain CRM pipeline accuracy, forecasting, and sales activity reporting.
• Support customer retention and strategic account development initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Plastics Technology, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• MBA preferred.
Experience
• Minimum 7-10 years of business development, technical sales, account management, or commercial leadership experience within plastics manufacturing.

Salary Range $135,000 - $150,000 (Depending on Experience)
