Advance strategic business development initiatives across a global law firm.

A prominent global law firm is seeking a Business Development Manager to support the firm's US Disputes, Intellectual Property and Technology practices, spanning Commercial Litigation, Life Sciences, Blockchain, Fintech, and AI.

Working alongside practice leadership and business development colleagues globally, the Manager will advance strategic initiatives that enhance client relationships, execute high-impact events, and strengthen the firm's market position.

The role in action:
  • Partner with attorneys and BD team leadership to elevate the visibility of key practice areas, accelerate revenue growth, and deepen client relationships.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to advance client initiatives, support cross-selling efforts, and align teams across practice areas to elevate client service and drive growth.
  • Lead the development of pitches, proposals, and RFP responses, managing the process and maintaining practice credentials and experience materials.
  • Coordinate with the Events team to deliver client events, sponsorships, and seminars, and support thought leadership and marketing initiatives that expand brand awareness and market presence.
  • Conduct market and competitive research to support strategy development and identify business opportunities.

We are seeking candidates who:

  • Bring 5+ years of experience in business development, marketing, communications, or other professional services settings; prior law firm experience is strongly preferred.
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, high standards for quality and accuracy, effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
