Position OverviewAs a Technology Business Continuity - Cyber Recovery Testing Lead within PNC's Technololgy Risk organization, you will be based in either: Pittsburgh PA, Dallas TX, Phoenix AZ, Strongsville OH or Birmingham AL.
Position Summary:
The Business Continuity - Cyber Recovery Testing Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing cyber recovery validation activities across applications, data assets, and supporting infrastructure. This role ensures recovery capabilities are tested, measured, and continually improved to meet enterprise resiliency objectives.
Required Experience
• 5+ years of experience in Disaster Recovery, Cyber Recovery, Infrastructure Recovery, Application Recovery Testing, or Resiliency Programs.
• Experience conducting recovery exercises and validating application and data asset recoverability.
• Understanding of backup, replication, disaster recovery, and application recovery processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead cyber recovery testing activities across application portfolios.
• Validate recovery plans through structured testing exercises.
• Assess application recovery capabilities against defined recovery objectives.
• Coordinate testing with infrastructure, security, and application teams.
• Validate recovery of critical data assets and supporting dependencies.
• Analyze recovery test results and identify recovery gaps.
• Develop remediation plans and track closure activities.
• Support recovery simulations and recovery readiness assessments.
• Produce executive reporting and recovery metrics.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with cyber recovery, backup recovery, immutable storage, replication technologies, or data recovery platforms.
• Knowledge of application architecture and dependency mapping.
• Understanding of cloud-based recovery solutions.
• Certifications such as CBCP, CISA, CISSP, or AWS/Azure certifications preferred.

Job Description- Leads in the development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans; oversees testing, emergency response, and recovery. Informs in the selection of operating strategies for the continuation of the business within a recovery time objective.
- Leads business recovery, crisis management, emergency management, contingency planning and disaster-preparedness planning. Looked to for expertise.
- Conducts, communicates, and maintains business continuity lifecycle planning and business impact analysis. Identifies and quantifies the potential impact of various disruptions and disaster scenarios.
- Interfaces with LOB committee/executive to report on the compliance of business continuity processes, readiness, events and exercise results. May lead relationships with audit and government regulators on business continuity issues.
- Responsible for leading high profile initiatives through the development, enhancement and dissemination of continuity processes and standards. Develops and delivers the training on business continuity.

Pay TransparencyBase Salary: $91,000.00 - $202,800.00
Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
