Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesAbout the role:The Business Automation Analyst - Business Solutions & Transformation focuses on evaluating and identifying opportunities where automation, AI agents, and process redesign can create meaningful business impact.
In this role you will:- Assess current business processes to identify automation and agentic AI opportunities
- Facilitate process discovery and process mapping activities
- Evaluate operational pain points and inefficiencies
- Recommend automation, AI, process improvement, or data-driven solutions
- Build business cases and value assessments for transformation initiatives
- Partner with business teams to prioritize opportunities and define future-state processes
QualificationsWhat makes you an ideal candidate?- Knowledge of automation assessment, lifecycle methodologies and documentation best practices
- Lean Six Sigma Green/Black belt certification preferred
- Automation certification in Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism or UiPath preferred
- Knowledge of GM Financial or another auto finance company core business functions, policies and procedures a plus
- Experience with various automation and productivity tools
- Skilled in the use of low code technology and the development of automation solutions
- Active listener and strong communication skills (both verbally and in writing)
- Proactive in building relationships with business partners
- Organized and willing to do administrative tasks
- Ability to use good research, data, and judgment when solving problems or making recommendations
- Ability to demonstrate integrity in the management of work demands and pressures
- Ability to continually pursue personal development

- Proven track record of solving difficult problems in an enterprise environment
Work Experience and Education- 3 years of demonstrated experience as a business analyst or similar role required
- Proven track record of solving difficult problems in an enterprise environment required
- 1 year working on automation or other technology initiatives as a business analyst or other applicable role preferred
- Experience working with both the business and IT to deliver business value preferred
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
