Role Description: Business Analyst - Master Data
  • Experience with data analytics tools such as Power BI, SQL, or Access - or advanced Excel skills with a willingness to grow into modern platforms
  • The ability to work with large datasets and translate data into actionable insights
  • Strong technical writing skills (e.g. project requirement artifacts)
  • Deep institutional knowledge of our merchandising processes
  • Clear, effective communication skills and the ability to document processes and collaborate across teams
  • Experience with item data management (PIM), facility data management (FMF) or vendor data management (VMF)


Job Qualifications

Five years of experience in retail operations/management, inventory management, procurement and/or developing business policies, programs and strategies.

OR

Bachelor's degree and three years of experience in retail operations/management, inventory management, procurement and/or developing business policies, programs and strategies.

Major Duties

Coordinate with the other departments and contractors in the preparation of the analysis, research, design, development, conversion and implementation of programs, projects and/or systems.

Identifies gaps, inefficiencies, and root causes to drive continuous improvement and support successful project outcomes.

Gathers and defines business requirements to ensure alignment with project objectives and successful delivery of solutions.

Supports solution design and validation by collaborating with project teams to ensure deliverables meet business requirements and quality standards.

Ensures traceability from requirements through to final outcomes, maintaining alignment, accountability, and project transparency

Documents current processes, including process maps and standard operating procedures (SOPs), to support project alignment, consistency, and continuous improvement.

Performs other duties as assigned
