If this description fits you, then you may be the person we're seeking to join our Quality Control Group!

What you'll be doing...

The Business Analyst is a solution-oriented professional who acts as a critical liaison between software development teams and business operations. This role is responsible for supporting the overall systems development lifecycle, specifically gathering and formalizing business requirements and driving user acceptance testing framework. The analyst ensures that business requirements are fully understood, translated and documented, so that development aligns with operational needs. Deep domain-specific knowledge of defined benefit pension plans is a key advantage for success in this role.

As a Business Analyst you will:
  • Partner with business stakeholders to elicit clear business requirements through requirements gathering/JAD sessions.
  • Research, analyze and evaluate user requirements to translate and write detailed functional specifications, system change documentation and process workflows.
  • Review complex business processes to determine if new systems enhancements, modifications or other changes will meet business needs.
  • Serve as a liaison between business users and development teams to ensure shared understanding and alignment.
  • Craft wireframes and interactive prototypes of screens, dashboards and reporting interfaces
  • Produce and maintain high-quality documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, process flows and user documentation.
  • Provide ongoing functional and technical support to the business

This position has a hybrid work schedule with 3 days per week (Tue, Wed & Thu) on-site in the Seattle office.

Who you are...
  • Educated: Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems or a related field preferred.
  • Experienced: 5 years' experience in business analysis or technical systems support, with additional experience in software testing/QA.
  • Subject Expertise: Knowledge of pension plan administration preferred. Ability to master complex pension system configurations and compliance frameworks is required.
  • Emotional Intelligence: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Analytical: Proven analytical, quantitative and troubleshooting skills. Ability to complete root cause analysis.
  • Self-Starter: Self-motivated with ability to work independently. Strong organizational and time management skills to coordinate projects with tight timelines.
  • Technically Savvy: Comfortable working with technology and database concepts. Proficient in MS Office tools with advanced skills in Visio, Project, SharePoint and Access.

  • Salary range of $6,685 - $9,045 per month (dependent on experience & qualifications)
