What You Will Do:The Border Security Business Analyst will join a dynamic team supporting U.S Federal border security customers. In this role, the candidate will develop border security process artifacts, briefings, and strategic analysis products for key government customers. In addition, they will support transformational initiatives to optimize processes and programs.
Duties will include:
- Assist in designing and conducting analyses that drive changes to established operations, processes, systems and technologies.
- Support operational and process analyses to deliver improvements in efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
- Consolidate, analyze, model, interpret, and report on key operational processes, communicate and present relevant insights on trends and potential drivers.
- Able to support process assessment by extracting and transforming information.
- Facilitates logistics and processes meetings to assist management in the development of clear statements of quantifiable goals, objectives, and metrics.
- Ensures process improvements align to strategic objectives.
- Experienced in developing realistic and practical implementation plans, supported by change management plans with newly reengineered business processes.
- Develop draft presentations and talking points to support executive briefings.
- Support hybrid work environments involving work on client site, in a Guidehouse office, and remote.
What You Will Need:- An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED CBP PUBLIC TRUST
- Bachelor's degree
- THREE (3) or more years of experience in business analytics, including experience developing and updating detailed policy analysis and documents
What Would Be Nice To Have:- Experience developing process improvements using MS Teams Planner and/or Asana.
- Strong business and technical writing experience; able to adjust writing to meet competing priorities between multiple clients and stakeholders.
- Experience presenting trends, research, and recommended continuous improvement to clientele and developing effective briefings and communication products.
- Knowledge of the federal government acquisition process.
- Experience working with DHS components.
- Experience supporting federal law enforcement agencies.
- Master's degree in relevant field (Public Policy, Business, Communications, or Public Affairs)

The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
