Job SummaryWe are seeking a Blockchain Platform Engineer to design, build, and integrate the core blockchain infrastructure supporting digital asset custody and tokenization platforms. This role focuses on Layer-1 blockchain integrations, wallet architecture, blockchain infrastructure services, and secure transaction workflows. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with blockchain protocols, distributed systems, backend engineering, and infrastructure development, with a focus on delivering secure, scalable, observable, and production-ready solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Integrate enterprise systems with Layer-1 blockchain networks such as Ethereum and similar blockchain platforms.
- Evaluate, enhance, and extend blockchain capabilities to support scalability, resilience, security, and custody requirements.
- Manage and optimize blockchain transaction lifecycle processes, including transaction submission, confirmation, finality, forks, reorganizations, and event propagation.
- Ensure blockchain integrations remain stable, scalable, and performant under production workloads.
- Design and develop blockchain infrastructure services, including indexers, event processors, blockchain data services, APIs, and observability tools.
- Build and maintain blockchain monitoring, troubleshooting, incident response, and operational support capabilities.
- Develop and support cross-chain and interoperability solutions.
- Design and implement blockchain-integrated wallet services and supporting infrastructure.
- Build transaction lifecycle components, including transaction creation, signing workflows, and submission pipelines.
- Integrate blockchain services with secure key management technologies such as Multi-Party Computation (MPC), Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), and related security solutions.
- Maintain clear separation between blockchain protocol logic, security controls, and business application functionality.
- Support custody-related operational workflows, including transaction execution, event monitoring, reconciliation, failure handling, and recovery processes.
- Define and implement secure interaction patterns for smart contracts and token standards.
- Ensure blockchain operations align with governance requirements, approval processes, and risk management controls.
- Utilize modern engineering practices to build reliable, secure, and observable distributed systems.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools and automation technologies to support code development, testing, documentation, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, security, platform, and custody teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Required Qualifications- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience working with blockchain technologies or distributed ledger platforms.
- Strong understanding of Layer-1 blockchain protocols and blockchain transaction lifecycles.
- Experience building backend services, APIs, distributed systems, and infrastructure platforms.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Go, Java, Rust, or Python.
- Experience designing and supporting scalable, high-availability production systems.
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, system design, and application architecture.
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting distributed and asynchronous systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across engineering, security, and platform teams.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience building blockchain indexers, explorers, analytics platforms, or blockchain observability solutions.
- Familiarity with wallet architecture, transaction signing workflows, and blockchain key management systems.
- Experience working within digital asset custody, financial services, or security-sensitive environments.
- Experience integrating with MPC, HSM, or other secure cryptographic key management solutions.
- Experience developing cross-chain interoperability solutions.
- Knowledge of smart contracts, token standards, and blockchain security best practices.
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and software delivery.
- Experience working with enterprise blockchain infrastructure and large-scale distributed systems.
