As part of Japan Global Solutions (JGS), this role partners with Japanese multinational clients, insurers, and Aon colleagues to deliver exceptional client service, support account retention, and help clients navigate complex risk environments.
This role offers an opportunity to develop expertise in multinational risk management while building client relationship, account management, and strategic coordination capabilities. The successful candidate will work closely with Account Executives, brokers, service teams, and other Aon colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality solutions to Japanese multinational clients.
This role is based in our NYC office.
What the Day Will Look LikeThis role involves building relationships with Japanese multinational clients, serving as their trusted point of contact, and ensuring their needs are addressed promptly. You'll collaborate closely with Account Executives, brokers, and service teams to coordinate resources, deliver tailored solutions, and keep client initiatives moving forward. You'll monitor service requests, resolve issues, and provide proactive updates to clients. Success comes from staying connected, anticipating client needs, and delivering a seamless client experience.
- Help clients understand risk management, risk transfer, market conditions, and relevant insurance trends.
- Support stewardship planning, client reporting, renewal preparation, and client communication.
- Support the renewal process by coordinating timelines, information requests, insurer engagement, and internal team alignment.
- Work with brokers and service teams to develop and deliver renewal strategies.
- Facilitate communication among clients, Aon teams, and insurers.
- Help ensure account documentation, invoicing, receivables follow-up, and other administrative processes are managed appropriately.
- Support account profitability through disciplined service delivery and awareness of the client service model.
- Serve as a bilingual bridge between Japanese clients and Aon's U.S. service teams.
- Coordinate with Aon Japan and global colleagues when clients require cross-border support.
- Help ensure Japanese multinational clients receive consistent service across geographies.
- Support client expansion discussions by identifying opportunities and bringing relevant Aon colleagues into the conversation.

Skills and Experience That Will Lead to Success- Native-level Japanese language proficiency and business-level English proficiency.
- Strong cultural fluency across Japanese and U.S. business environments.
- Active Property & Casualty license, or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment.
- 7+ years of account management experience in Commercial Risk, insurance brokerage, insurance company, risk management, or related professional services.
- Experience supporting large or complex commercial clients.
- Experience coordinating across internal service teams, brokers, insurers, and client stakeholders.
- Experience working with Japanese companies or multinational clients preferred.
- General knowledge of commercial insurance, risk management, renewal processes, and client service delivery.
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Pay Transparency Laws:The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $110,000 - $135,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
