Position OverviewThe Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing all beverage operations within Downtown L.A. Proper, ensuring an exceptional guest experience that reflects the standards of our luxury property. This role requires a dynamic leader with a passion for hospitality, deep product knowledge, and a commitment to excellence in service, quality, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all beverage outlets, including bars, restaurants, minibars, and in-room dining beverage program
  • Curate and maintain an elevated beverage program, including wine, spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic offerings, aligned with brand standards and guest expectations
  • Develop creative, seasonally inspired drink menus in collaboration with culinary and marketing teams
  • Oversee beverage purchasing, inventory control, and cost management to ensure profitability and minimize waste
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors, distributors, and suppliers to secure premium products
  • Train, mentor, and supervise bar and service staff to deliver exceptional, personalized guest service
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal alcohol regulations and health & safety standards
  • Monitor guest feedback and industry trends to continuously enhance the beverage experience
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance for all beverage operations
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation across all beverage outlets
