Full Job Description
About the Role

Reflection's team is global, growing fast, and made up of some of the most sought-after talent in AI. The benefits programs we offer need to reflect that. We're looking for a Benefits Manager to own our global benefits function end-to-end - designing programs that are competitive, cost-effective, and genuinely valued by our team. You'll work closely with the Head of Total Rewards to build the strategy, then execute it yourself. This is a high-ownership role with real scope: you'll manage complex vendor relationships, lead renewals and open enrollment, and expand our programs as we enter new markets. If you've built world-class benefits at a high-growth company and want to do it again at a place building something consequential, this is the role.

What You'll Do
  • Own the design, administration, and ongoing management of global benefits programs.
  • Lead annual benefits renewals, market reviews, and open enrollment processes.
  • Manage relationships with brokers, consultants, insurance carriers, and benefits vendors.
  • Evaluate and recommend benefits programs, wellbeing offerings, and employee perks to support attraction and retention goals.
  • Partner with the Head of Total Rewards to develop and evolve the company's global benefits strategy.
  • Negotiate plan design, pricing, and vendor contracts to ensure competitive and cost-effective programs.
  • Support benefits implementation and administration in new countries as the company expands internationally.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for complex employee benefits questions and escalations.
  • Partner with People Operations, Payroll, Finance, and external vendors to ensure smooth administration of benefits programs.
  • Monitor benefits utilization, participation, and cost trends, providing recommendations for optimization.
  • Develop employee communications, education materials, and resources related to benefits programs.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable benefits regulations and reporting requirements.

What We're Looking For
  • 5-8+ years of experience managing employee benefits programs, preferably within high-growth technology companies.
  • Deep expertise in U.S. employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, retirement, and leave programs.
  • Experience leading annual renewals and open enrollment programs.
  • Experience managing brokers, carriers, consultants, and external benefits vendors.
  • Strong understanding of benefits plan design, funding models, and cost management strategies.
  • Excellent project management and operational execution skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret utilization, enrollment, and cost data.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to balance employee experience, competitiveness, and financial stewardship.
  • Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing international benefits programs across multiple countries.
  • Experience supporting global expansion and benefits implementation in new markets.
  • Experience working with PEO, EOR, and international payroll providers.
  • Familiarity with Rippling, Sequoia, or similar benefits administration platforms.
  • Experience conducting vendor RFPs and contract negotiations.
  • Experience supporting highly competitive technical talent populations.

  • Top-tier compensation: Salary and equity structured to recognize and retain the best talent globally.
  • Health & wellness: Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
  • Life & family: Fully paid parental leave for all new parents, including adoptive and surrogate journeys. Financial support for family planning.
