Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant social science field (experience may substitute for education).
• 2-3 years of professional experience in social science or behavioral research.
• Prior experience in a DoD or Federal Government environment preferred, particularly with personnel security processes.
• Experience with qualitative and/or quantitative research using tools like SPSS.
• Strong writing skills with experience in drafting reports and APA-style documentation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct applied social science research on personnel security and financial risk indicators.
• Support qualitative and quantitative research, including stakeholder interviews and literature reviews.
• Utilize statistical analysis software like SPSS to analyze data and interpret findings.
• Draft technical reports, APA-style research documents, and briefing materials.
• Assist in developing systematic research methodologies and analytical frameworks.
• Collaborate with Senior economists to evaluate and interpret statistical findings.
• Synthesize input from SMEs, adjudicators, and policy stakeholders into actionable insights.
