Full Job Description
One Federal Solution is seeking a Social Science Data Analyst to support federal personnel security and financial risk research initiatives. The role involves conducting qualitative and quantitative research, analyzing data using SPSS and other statistical tools, developing technical reports and briefing materials, and collaborating with economists, subject matter experts, and government stakeholders to provide actionable insights that support policy development, program evaluation, and strategic decision-making. An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.

Social Science Data Analyst

  • Conduct applied social science research related to personnel security and financial risk indicators.
  • Support qualitative and quantitative research efforts, including stakeholder interviews, literature reviews, and data collection activities
  • Utilize SPSS and/or other statistical analysis software to analyze datasets and interpret research findings
  • Draft and contribute to technical reports, APA-style research documents, briefing materials, and meeting summaries
  • Assist in the development and execution of systematic research methodologies and analytical frameworks
  • Collaborate and assist Senior economists to evaluate and interpret statistical findings
  • Synthesize input from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), adjudicators, and policy stakeholders into actionable research insights and recommendations
  • Travel locally within the DMV region as needed to support meetings, research activities, and stakeholder engagements
  • Provide analytical and research support for program evaluations, policy analysis, and decision-making initiatives
