The opportunity

Join our dynamic Banking Technology team, where we help financial institutions transform through data-driven insights and digital innovation. As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering actionable intelligence to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency across banking platforms.

Your key responsibilities
  • Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau to visualize complex banking data.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Perform data wrangling, cleansing, and transformation using SQL and other tools to ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Analyze trends in customer behavior, risk, and operational performance to support business cases and regulatory reporting.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including technology, compliance, and product to deliver insights that drive innovation in banking services.
  • Support data governance and metadata management initiatives in alignment with enterprise standards.
  • Document data models, KPIs, and reporting logic to ensure transparency and reusability.


To qualify for the role you must have
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role with a financial services focus.
  • Proficiency in Power BI and Tableau, with a strong portfolio of dashboards and visualizations.
  • Solid understanding of banking operations, including retail, commercial, or digital banking.
  • Experience working with large datasets and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Oracle).
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with data governance tools (e.g., IBM Knowledge Catalog, Azure purview) is a plus.
  • Agile and collaborative approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.


Ideally, you'll also have
  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence, preferably within the financial services sector.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is an asset.

Individual salaries within the anticipated salary ranges noted below are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, education, relevant experience, knowledge, and applicable skill sets.
