Job Summary
The Azure Platform Engineer will design, deploy, maintain, and support enterprise-grade Azure cloud and data analytics platforms, including Power BI environments. The role requires 5+ years of hands-on Azure cloud engineering experience with strong expertise in Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, Azure networking, and Power BI platform administration. The engineer will collaborate with data engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, reliable, and cost-effective cloud architectures while providing operational support and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, deploy, maintain, and support Azure cloud infrastructure and data platform services.
• Implement and manage Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory components.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Support, administer, and optimize Power BI platform environments.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to develop scalable and cost-effective cloud architectures.
• Troubleshoot Azure platform issues and provide operational support.
• Configure and manage Azure networking components, including VNets, Private Endpoints, NSGs, and DNS.
• Support data engineering workloads involving pipelines, data lakes, and data ingestion patterns.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of hands-on Azure cloud engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
• Proficiency with Azure Functions and API Management.
• Strong knowledge of Azure networking, including VNets, Private Endpoints, NSGs, and DNS.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub, and GitHub Actions for source control and CI/CD.
• Experience administering and deploying Power BI platform environments.
• Strong understanding of data engineering fundamentals, including pipelines, data lakes, and data ingestion patterns.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Experience with Azure cost governance and optimization.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps.
Certifications
• Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or DP-203.
