Job Summary

The Infrastructure Engineer will design, maintain, optimize, and support enterprise infrastructure and related processes. The role will serve as a technical subject matter expert across systems, networks, and cloud environments, with responsibilities spanning infrastructure operations, monitoring, technical project leadership, cloud disaster recovery, advanced cloud configurations, and support for technology migrations.

Key Responsibilities
• Implement, maintain, and support infrastructure across Windows and Unix servers, networking, and cloud environments.
• Monitor infrastructure alerts, triage issues, and respond appropriately.
• Lead technical projects while collaborating with IT teams and business stakeholders.
• Support IT teams with infrastructure-related incidents and technical issues.
• Execute infrastructure operational processes, including patching and monitoring.
• Support technology migration and infrastructure activities associated with organizational changes.
• Develop and maintain documentation for tools, systems, and processes, including architecture, policies, SOPs, and standards.
• Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to other team members as appropriate.
• Assess and resolve complex infrastructure issues with minimal supervision.

Required Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer.
• Experience with cloud technologies, including Azure, AWS, and/or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of common enterprise technologies, including systems, networks, databases, and applications.
• Experience with cloud disaster recovery methods.
• Experience leading IT projects.
• Experience with advanced cloud configurations, including containers, configuration management, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing and distributed systems.
• Strong logical and analytical skills for quickly assessing infrastructure and security alerts.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to handle complex infrastructure issues and refer only the most complex matters to higher-level staff.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with scripting languages and platforms such as Python and PowerShell.
