JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Senior .NET Developer with strong AWS and backend engineering expertise to design, develop, modernize, and support enterprise applications and APIs. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in C#, .NET, cloud-native development on AWS, API development, CI/CD automation, and observability practices. This role will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Participate in requirements analysis, solution design, and technical planning activities.
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Microsoft .NET technologies.
• Develop scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices supporting business-critical applications.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integration services.
• Design and implement API management solutions, preferably using Kong API Gateway.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to create scalable technical solutions.
• Develop clean, maintainable, secure, and high-quality code following development best practices.
• Enhance, modernize, and optimize existing software applications and platforms.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and technical excellence initiatives.
• Test, troubleshoot, debug, deploy, and support applications throughout the SDLC.
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation processes.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to streamline build, release, and deployment activities.
• Utilize observability tools to monitor application health, identify issues, and improve reliability.
• Analyze application performance and implement optimization strategies as needed.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and support materials.
• Serve as a technical subject matter expert and provide production support when required.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release activities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience as a .NET Developer in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in C# and Microsoft .NET development.
• Extensive experience with ASP.NET and backend application development.
• Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Experience developing and supporting applications in AWS cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and database development.
• Experience with software architecture and design patterns including MVC.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation processes.
• Experience with DevOps practices and software delivery automation.
• Hands-on experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and quality engineering practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience with Kong API Gateway or similar API management platforms.
• Experience with Harness or similar CI/CD orchestration tools.
• Knowledge of cloud security principles and secure application development practices.
• Experience with application performance tuning, profiling, and optimization.
• Experience with AWS cost optimization and cloud resource management.
• Experience building microservices and cloud-native applications.
• Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications and distributed systems.
CERTIFICATIONS
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate preferred.
• AWS Certified Developer - Associate preferred.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate preferred.
• Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert preferred.
• Relevant .NET, Cloud, DevOps, or API Management certifications are a plus.
