Full Job Description
Position Summary

The Field Specialist serves as a strategic partner to the Sales and Education organizations, driving business growth through sales enablement, field education, and brand activation. This role strengthens the capabilities of field sales teams and Salon Development Partners (SDPs), supports salon performance through targeted education and coaching, and ensures successful execution of commercial initiatives across assigned markets. The Field Specialist also provides interim territory support, maintains key customer relationships, and serves as a brand ambassador for the brand in the field.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Sales Enablement & Capability Development
  • Serve as the primary Train-the-Trainer (TTT) leader and capability-building resource for Salon Development Partners (SDPs) and field sales teams, delivering coaching, education, onboarding, and development support. Lead onboarding and field integration for newly hired SDPs while upskilling field sales teams through education in product knowledge, selling skills, consultation techniques, and brand execution. Coach sales representatives on customer engagement, retail growth strategies, and business-building conversations, reinforcing key sales behaviors and addressing capability gaps through field coaching, market visits, and targeted development plans.

Brand Activation & Commercial Execution
  • Implement and activate brand sales initiatives, product launches, promotional programs, and business initiatives through consistent education, messaging, and in-market execution. Ensure brand standards, merchandising expectations, and customer experience principles are consistently executed in the field.

Territory & Account Support
  • Provide interim coverage for open territories and support strategic accounts through education, business consultations, and commercial activation that sustain customer engagement and sales performance. Collaborate with regional teams to prioritize opportunities and maximize business impact.

Salon Education & Business Development
  • Deliver customized education programs in product knowledge, consultation skills, retail excellence, service-to-retail conversion, leadership, client retention, and business-building strategies to strengthen salon performance and measurable business results. Support salon teams through coaching, follow-up, and tailored development plans that address business opportunities and performance gaps.

Partnership & Collaboration
  • Partner with Sales, Education, and cross-functional leadership to align business objectives, identify growth opportunities, and ensure a seamless customer experience. Share field insights, customer feedback, and emerging trends to inform education strategies, commercial initiatives, and future business planning.

Performance Measurement & Continuous Improvement
  • Track, evaluate, and report on education activities, SDP capability development, field engagement, and business outcomes using established performance measures and reporting tools. Provide coaching and competency assessment for SDPs while analyzing field insights, customer feedback, and business results to identify opportunities, recommend actions, and drive continuous improvement.


Pay Range:
Anticipated Base Salary Range $71,040.00 to $106,560.00 (Depending on qualifications, skills, experience and/or budget), based on a 40 hour work week (range to be scaled accordingly). In addition, the Company maintains highly competitive incentive compensation programs (role eligibility may vary based on terms of the respective plan(s)).
