Job Description: Day to Day job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis) Design, develop, test, and maintain automation solutions to improve operational efficiency, system reliability, and business process effectiveness. nalyze existing business and technical processes to identify automation opportunities and recommend appropriate solutions using RPA, scripting, workflow automation, or AI-powered automation technologies. Collaborate with business stakeholders, application teams, infrastructure teams, and solution architects to gather requirements and define automation use cases. Develop reusable automation components, scripts, bots, workflows, and frameworks following enterprise standards and best practices. Monitor automation processes, troubleshoot failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to ensure high availability and performance. Conduct code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and deployment activities for automation projects. Maintain automation documentation including process design documents (PDD), solution design documents (SDD), test cases, operational runbooks, and knowledge articles. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and release planning. Work closely with DevOps and cloud teams to integrate automation solutions into CI/CD pipelines and enterprise platforms. Ensure compliance with security, risk, governance, and organizational standards during automation development and deployment. Support production automation environments and provide L2/L3 support for business-critical automation solutions. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation through emerging automation technologies, AI, machine learning, and low-code platforms. Track automation benefits, KPIs, and ROI metrics, providing regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership teams. Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each) Minimum 5+ years of experience in Automation Engineering, Intelligent Automation, RPA Development, or Process Automation initiatives. Minimum 3+ years of experience designing and developing automation solutions using platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Microsoft Power Automate, Blue Prism, or equivalent. Minimum 3+ years of experience with programming and scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, C#, VB.NET, or similar technologies. Experience integrating automation solutions with enterprise applications including SAP, Oracle, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Microsoft 365, and cloud platforms. Experience with REST APIs, web services, database connectivity, and system integration methodologies. Experience working within Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile, and DevOps environments. Experience creating technical documentation, solution designs, test plans, and operational support documentation. Hands-on experience with Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or other CI/CD and version control tools. Strong understanding of exception handling, error management, logging, monitoring, and automation support processes. Experience performing troubleshooting, root cause analysis, performance optimization, and defect resolution. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. bility to work independently and manage multiple automation initiatives simultaneously. Degree: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience. Experience with AI-powered automation, Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), OCR technologies, and Generative AI solutions. Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform. Knowledge of DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with process mining tools such as Celonis, Process Advisor, or similar platforms. Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or Azure Monitor. Exposure to machine learning, natural language processing, or advanced analytics solutions. Experience in consulting environments working with global clients and distributed teams. Knowledge of ITIL processes, incident management, problem management, and change management practices. Experience leading automation initiatives, mentoring junior developers, and contributing to automation strategy and governance.
