Job Description: Key Responsibilities Test Automation & Framework Development • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend testing • Identify test scenarios suitable for automation and ensure high automation coverage • Develop automated test scripts using Java/Python (or similar languages) Testing & Quality Engineering • Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, and system testing • Execute automated and limited manual tests where required • Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, and test strategy discussions • Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices • Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.) • Enable shift-left testing and continuous quality checks • Work with DevOps teams to support containerized and cloud-based test execution • Work as part of Agile/Scrum teams, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives • Collaborate with developers to debug issues and improve testability • Provide clear test metrics, reports, and quality insights to stakeholders • Evaluate and recommend improvements to test tools, frameworks, and processes • Stay updated with latest trends in test automation and quality engineering • Mentor junior QA/Automation engineers when needed Technical Skills • 5+ years of experience in test automation / SDET roles • 4-5 years of Strong programming skills in Java or Python • 5+ years of experience with UI automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress • 3-5 years of Strong API automation experience using REST Assured, Postman, or similar tools • Knowledge of BDD/TDD frameworks (Cucumber, TestNG, JUnit, PyTest) • 5+ years of Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines • Familiarity with Git and version control workflows • 5+ years of working knowledge of SQL and database testing • 3-5 years of experience testing microservices and distributed systems • Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP • 3-5 years of experience with Docker and containers (Kubernetes is a plus) • Understanding of performance and security testing basics (JMeter, OWASP concepts) #LI-NorthAmerica
