The Associate Vice President of Financial Aid provides strategic leadership and management in the design and administration of aid programs across the University's full enrollment portfolio. This role works closely with University leadership and campus partners to align financial aid policies and practices to institutional priorities while ensuring regulatory compliance, data-driven decision-making, technology and operations optimization, and high-quality, student-centered services.

Job Duties

• Serve as the university’s financial aid expert, providing strategic leadership in a complex regulatory environment while fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive financial aid strategy aligned with institutional priorities, establishing aid philosophy, goals, and objectives to support enrollment and student success.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, institutional, and regulatory requirements governing financial aid programs, including oversight of audits, reviews, corrective actions, and policy adherence.
• Direct the administration of financial aid operations, including awarding, disbursement, reconciliation, workflow management, and the effective use of technology to enhance service, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.
• Lead and develop a high-performing financial aid team while promoting exceptional customer service, financial literacy programming, and student-centered support throughout the financial aid lifecycle.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 10 years financial aid experience and
• 7 years years in a management/leadership role

Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
