About the Role:

As signal loss accelerates and contextual and first-party data become the foundation of modern audience strategies, PubMatic's Audience Solutions portfolio is at the center of this transformation. Our flagship capability, Connect, is a leading data marketplace that enables data vendors to monetize and manage their audiences against programmatic deals, driving incremental revenue to our publishers and better outcomes for advertisers. Today, Connect powers partnerships with dozens of premium contextual, behavioral, and intent data providers, and continues to scale rapidly as the market moves toward cookieless buying.

More recently, PubMatic has taken a leadership role in agentic advertising revolution. PubMatic launched and executed the industry's first fully autonomous campaign in December 2025. Audience Solutions is playing a critical role in shaping that future, working jointly with data providers, curators, and buyers to build this new ecosystem.

What You'll Do:

The Associate Vice President, Audience Solutions, will own and grow PubMatic's global Connect business, lead our curation efforts, and lead the audience aspects of our broader agentic vision. This is a high-impact general management role that spans go-to-market strategy, sales, customer success, product input, product marketing, pricing, and team development.

The AVP will be responsible for defining the Audience Solutions business strategy, acquiring new Connect data partners, and scaling existing partner relationships. As the industry continues to evolve, with AI-driven audience modeling, clean room integrations, and privacy-preserving data collaboration becoming table stakes, this leader will position PubMatic at the forefront of next-generation audience infrastructure.
  • Define and execute the global Audience Solutions business strategy, with a focus on the Connect data marketplace and inventory curation.
  • Define and lead our agentic audience strategy, working closely with partners of all types to create and more efficient advertising future.
  • Drive new partner acquisition across contextual, behavioral, first-party, and clean room data providers.
  • Grow and retain existing Connect partnerships by delivering measurable value and deepening integrations.
  • Lead inventory curation strategy to enable premium, addressable supply packaging for buyers.
  • Provide strategic product input to the product management team, informed by partner feedback and market trends.
  • Own go-to-market planning, pricing strategy, and product marketing positioning for Audience Solutions.
  • Build and develop a high-performing team across sales, partnerships, and customer success.
  • Represent PubMatic as a thought leader in audience data, contextual targeting, and privacy-safe advertising at industry events and with key customers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, legal, and finance to structure and operationalize complex data partnerships.


Who You Are:
  • 8+ years of experience in the programmatic advertising ecosystem, with deep expertise in audience data, contextual targeting, or data marketplace solutions.
  • 8+ years of experience building and/or selling technology solutions to senior customer and partner contacts.
  • 3+ years in a general manager or P&L ownership role, with demonstrated success scaling a business or product line.
  • Early experience with agentic advertising.
  • Fluency in the current audience landscape: first-party data strategies, clean rooms, contextual targeting, privacy sandbox developments, and post-cookie buying models.
  • Product orientation with an ability to translate market and partner needs into clear, actionable input for product and engineering teams.
  • Exceptional communication and executive presence; able to sell to C-suite partners, align internal stakeholders, and present strategy to senior leadership.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Track record of thriving in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a bias for action.
  • Self-starter with a strong drive to meet or exceed goals with minimal supervision.
  • 30%+ travel commitment.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required; MBA preferred.

Compensation Disclosure

In accordance with applicable law, the below salary range provided is PubMatic's reasonable estimate of the total compensation for this role. New hires and current team members are typically compensated toward the middle of our pay range. The actual amount may vary, based on non-discriminatory factors such as location, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities. In addition to salary PubMatic also offers a bonus, restricted stock units, and a competitive benefits package.
