The anticipated salary range for this role is between $104,000.00 and $170,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. Role Description
Front-end software development work: Developing, updating, and debugging Typescript/React based web application user interfaces supporting initiatives as set forth by the Head of Technology and the Executive Director responsible for overall User Interface strategy.
• Replace and/or integrate legacy systems: Connect user interfaces to data sources through Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) provided by other teams. Assist in application functionality maturation levels required to sunlight older applications and ease customer transition to these newer, modern, systems.
• Run daily scrums, JIRA grooming: Scrums are daily team meetings in which members provide updates on tasks, raise any issues/dependencies that could potentially block them from completing their tasks. JIRA tickets describe the individual tasks that are assigned to each developer, assist in properly estimating time to complete and complexity of implementation.
• Evaluate and propose technical designs: Review current technical/programming design patterns and assess potential improvements in efficiency/modernization.
• Follow Software development lifecycle: Design, Develop, Test, Deploy, and Maintain assigned development tasks.
• Create documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, code comments: Document major development efforts, provide logic flow diagrams, and comments in code bases indicating intent of developed implementations.
• Monitor, collect, and analyze software or system issues: Develop code logic tests/expectations and analyze current code quality reports and error logs.
Qualifications and Skills
• Contribute to team code review requests and provide input into potential change suggestions/updates
• Contribute to overall application quality test automation initiatives, including test creations, executions, updates
• Support and adhere to application feature release cadences and processes
• Continually assess current developer ways of working and provide retrospective improvement suggestions/recommendations
