Full Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Participate in the design, implementation, and test of firmware/software systems.

  • Understand hardware and software interactions.

  • Participate in the development of designs and test documentation.

  • Develop knowledge of SEL engineering processes.

  • Develop knowledge of SEL products and technology.

  • Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

  • Understand. Create. Simplify.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications Include:

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent

  • Knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

    • Object oriented design - Object oriented languages (C#)

    • Graphical User Interface applications in Window environments including object oriented design and object oriented languages (C#)

    • Web application development including back-end webservices (ASP.NET, C#) and front-end web design (React, typescript)

  • Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills

  • Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities

  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment


Preferred Qualifications Include:

  • Experience with C# and Typescript development

  • Web development experience with React

  • Experience with user experience (UX) design

  • Experience with revision control systems (Git)

  • Experience with automated testing (Jest, NUnit)

  • General understanding of cybersecurity, user authentication and authorization

  • Experience working with a team

Pay Range Data -$81,300 - $122,000

We set starting pay based on job-related factors such as your experience, training, knowledge, and skills. We are looking to fill this position at theAssociate level, and we welcome applicants with a range of experience. Depending on your background, we may consider you for a different level, with compensation aligned accordingly.
