You will be responsible for facilitating prospecting for opportunities, as well as opportunity maintenance throughout the institutional sales cycle. In addition, you will proactively support early-stage relationship development within a defined subset of prospects, including initiating outreach and building familiarity with Capital Group ahead of formal opportunities. You take the time to create and maintain meaningful relationships and are comfortable engaging new contacts through targeted outreach, introductory conversations, and follow-up engagement, while remaining closely aligned with Business Development Managers (BDMs) on strategy, messaging, and prioritization. You are a generous collaborator and strong project manager, with the ability to influence a variety of personalities. You raise your hand when you see a problem or have a question, and your colleagues turn to you for sound recommendations based on facts. Using tools like Salesforce, you'll partner with internal resources on critical support initiatives such as reporting, data accuracy, and mass/automated communications. You will partner with Business Development Managers (BDMs), the Consultant Relationship and Client Service teams, and Internal Sales & Support Coordinators (ISSC) in a sales-oriented team model. This role is designed to augment and extend the Business Development Managers (BDM) relationship model, ensuring seamless coordination as opportunities develop. You will present our strategies to clients and prospects and coordinate all sales opportunities. - You have the ability to conduct effective meetings with external and internal contacts when needed. Over time, this role should effectively operate as the second-in-command on prospecting efforts, independently advancing defined relationships while partnering closely with BDMs for strategic direction and later-stage engagement. - You have a strong sense of Capital Group processes and how to navigate within tight timelines in an institutional environment. You are able to prioritize and organize responsibilities while handling multiple priorities.
