We are seeking an Associate Manager, Facilities Operations Systems to join our Real Estate & Facilities Management (RE&FM) team, supporting our Facilities Operations Systems and building automation functions in an on-site capacity. In this role, you will manage the people, standards, and technology behind our building systems, moving from tactical to strategic decision-making to deliver a high-quality environment for our end users while collaborating with Regeneron Engineering, the HVAC and BMS teams, the ROCC, and third-party contractors and vendors.

 Discover your role:

As an Associate Manager, you'll lead the people and standards behind our facilities systems, balancing day-to-day operations with long-term strategy for RE&FM.

  • You'll manage staff who program, maintain, and quality-check our Operations Systems and BMS engineering support activities
  • You'll direct third-party contractors supporting Operations Systems and BMS work
  • You'll set the design and standards for a wide range of building systems, from fire control and antenna systems to EV charging and electrochromic glazing
  • You'll partner closely with Engineering, HVAC, and BMS teams to keep site specifications current for fire control, lighting control, energy monitoring, and building automation systems
  • You'll guide alarm governance with the ROCC and drive system optimizations that improve usability, efficiency, and data quality
  • You'll train and develop your team, building their skills in configuring and applying Engineering and Operations software
  • You'll identify and champion new technologies, building the business case to bring them to Regeneron
  • You'll help negotiate vendor agreements and engage utility and state partners on incentive opportunities
  • You'll mentor and develop your direct reports, keeping management informed of their progress

 

 

This role requires:
  • Bachelor's Degree required, or 15 years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
  • 10 years of progressive experience in building systems engineering, controls/building automation, or a systems management function
  • Detailed understanding of major building systems, including building automation/BMS platforms
  • Knowledge of construction and building trade methods as they relate to energy usage
  • Excellent judgment, decision-making, and written and oral communication skills
  • Valid driver's license recognized by New York State, with a clear driving record maintained per Regeneron's Fleet Safety Policy
