A Day in the Life
The Facilities function is responsible for maintaining and optimizing building infrastructure, equipment, utilities, and support services to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This team oversees facility maintenance programs, capital improvement projects, contractor management, space planning, building systems, and workplace services that support day-to-day business operations.

This onsite position is based at the distribution center in Swedesboro, New Jersey. The Senior Facilities Supervisor provides leadership for facility operations, maintenance activities, vendor services, and continuous improvement initiatives across the site. No travel is required for this position.

The Senior Facilities Supervisor leads facility operations and maintenance activities to support a safe, compliant, and efficient workplace. This role oversees team performance, facility systems, contractor activities, maintenance planning, and site improvement projects while ensuring reliable building operations and service delivery.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead daily facilities operations and maintenance activities across building systems, equipment, and site services
• Supervise, coach, and develop facilities personnel to support performance, productivity, and operational objectives
• Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure reliability of facility infrastructure
• Manage facility modification and improvement projects, including scheduling, resource planning, and cost control
• Oversee contractor and vendor performance for maintenance, janitorial, grounds, security, and facility support services
• Monitor and maintain building systems including Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), electrical, plumbing, Building Automation Systems (BAS), and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• Establish and support compliance with environmental, health, safety, and facility operating standards
• Drive process improvements and space utilization initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer service

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of people leadership experience in facilities, maintenance, building operations, or related environments
• Experience supervising employees, contractors, or facility service providers
• Experience with facility maintenance operations, work scheduling, and resource prioritization
• Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related discipline
• Experience managing facility renovation, infrastructure, or capital improvement projects
• Experience with budget administration, contract management, and vendor performance management
• Knowledge of regulatory, environmental health, and workplace safety requirements
• Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or regulated operational environments

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$86,400.00 - $129,600.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
