Full Job Description
Imagine a future where you help shape the growth of renewable energy across the Americas through investment analysis, commercial strategy, and transaction execution.

Join us in this role where you'll support M&A and business development activities across a diverse portfolio of renewable energy opportunities. You'll work on complex transactions, build financial and valuation models, manage diligence workstreams, and provide commercial insights that help drive investment decisions and accelerate Ørsted's growth ambitions across the Americas.

You'll play an important role in:
  • screening and evaluating M&A and business development opportunities across renewable energy markets
  • building and maintaining valuation and financial models to support investment and commercial decisions
  • managing due diligence processes and coordinating internal and external stakeholders
  • developing commercial analyses and recommendations that optimize project economics and risk profiles
  • supporting the pricing, structuring, and risk assessment of revenue contracts and commercial agreements
  • participating directly in the execution and closing of M&A and business development transactions.


To succeed in the role, you:

  • have experience within investment banking, corporate finance, M&A, business development, renewable energy, or a similar commercial environment
  • possess advanced financial modelling and analytical skills and enjoy solving complex commercial problems
  • understand the key drivers of value in renewable energy, infrastructure, or project-based investments
  • can synthesize information from multiple sources and translate analysis into clear recommendations
  • build strong relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • hold a degree in finance, accounting, economics, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Position salary range:

The salary range for this position is USD $98,000.00 to USD $125,000.00.

Our salary ranges are based on position level and reflect the cost of labor across multiple U.S geographic markets. Individual pay within the range is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can provide more details about the applicable salary range during the hiring process.

Variable Compensation: Our total rewards package may include discretionary short-term and long-term incentive opportunities based on your pay band and performance. These may be changed or suspended based on the sole discretion of the company
