Overview

The Associate Integration Solutions Engineer will play a role in building and supporting integration solutions within the company’s software ecosystem. This role requires collaboration with clients, business teams, developers, and infrastructure providers to design and implement scalable, high-quality integrations that meet business needs. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to research emerging technologies, enhance integration capabilities and drive innovation. 

Responsibilities
  • Client Engagement & Solution Design:
  • Work directly with colleagues and clients to understand business needs, define technical requirements, and support innovative integration and software solutions that drive business value. Act as technical point of contact for client discussions, presenting design choices and ensuring alignment with client objectives. Engage in solution implementation across different environments.
  • Integration Solution Design & Implementation:
  • Design, implement, and maintain integration solutions that connect various internal and external systems. Ensure that integration processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business goals. Participate in the implementation of solutions across multiple environments.
  • High-Level Design:
  • Support the design of complex software and integration systems, ensuring consistency with overall architecture. Collaborate with product architects to review and influence application architectures, focusing on scalability, reusability, and alignment with best practices.
  • Technical Support:
  • Assist in providing technical support across various development and integration projects, engaging with teams in the design, implementation, and delivery of robust solutions. Provide technical integrations and ensure adherence to best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Technology Evaluation & Innovation:
  • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies relevant to integration and client solutions. Participate in prototyping and reference implementations to demonstrate the viability and impact of new technologies, including Machine Learning and AI. Present findings and recommendations to both internal teams and clients.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
  • Create and maintain documentation for integration processes, including system architectures, data flows, and troubleshooting guides. Ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant teams.
  • The technical components of this role will primarily involve C# development and working with both T-SQL and PL/SQL. Training and mentorship will be available.
  • Complete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual performance review and/or goal setting.
  • Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • B.S. Degree in Computer Science or a technically related field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in specific coding techniques or language such as Java, C/C++, C#, T-SQL, PL/SQL.
  • Knowledge of best practice design patterns and demonstrated experience applying those patterns in the design, development, and delivery of highly scalable enterprise-class systems.
  • Practical knowledge of third-party software application framework components such as application servers (JBoss, WebLogic, .NET), database management systems (Oracle, SQL Server), messaging systems (JMS based, MQSeries), operating systems (Linux, Windows), and container frameworks (Spring).
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and able to take ownership with little guidance.
