Job Description:TD Asset Management's Global Multi-Asset Strategy Team supports the management of approximately $100 billion in global multi-asset retail solutions while contributing to the growth of institutional mandates. The team conducts rigorous global macro research, combining top-down macroeconomic analysis with bottom-up security-level research to develop investment insights and portfolio strategies across asset classes.
Working closely with Portfolio Managers and investment professionals, the Associate will contribute to the research, development, and implementation of investment strategies through quantitative analysis, data-driven insights, and technology-enabled solutions. The successful candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, exceptional quantitative skills, and a passion for applying data and research to investment decision-making.
This role is ideally suited for candidates with a strong quantitative foundation and an educational background in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Data Science, Quantitative Finance, or a related quantitative discipline.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience in investment research, quantitative analysis, data science, financial markets, or a related field
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Data Science, Quantitative Finance, Applied Mathematics, Statistics
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to derive insights from large and complex datasets
- Demonstrated experience with programming, data analytics, automation, and AI-enabled tools
- Understanding of global financial markets, macroeconomic factors, portfolio construction, and risk management
- Experience applying quantitative methods to investment research, forecasting, asset allocation, or portfolio management is preferred
- Progress toward the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is considered an asset
- Self-motivated with strong intellectual curiosity and a passion for financial markets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex quantitative concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
**We'll be hiring at either the Analyst or Associate level, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.**
