Success looks like well-prepared client insights and materials, effective credit processes and proactive risk oversight that strengthens portfolio performance and client experience.

What you'll be doing
  • Provide day-to-day support to Relationship Managers to enhance client engagement and deliver needs-based solutions and fair outcomes
  • Attend client meetings, develop relationships and act as a first point of contact for daily credit-related enquiries
  • Prepare analysis, proposals and presentations for prospective customers
  • Coordinate client planning, pipeline management and engagement with product partners from opportunity identification through to implementation
  • Perform financial, credit and profitability analysis and prepare account remarks
  • Collaborate with colleagues across HSBC to deliver appropriate solutions for customers
  • Monitor risk across Global Standards, Anti-Money Laundering and sanctions alerts and escalate issues for response as required
  • Review client portfolios to ensure returns remain aligned to risk profiles, taking timely corrective action to mitigate losses and support profitability
  • Maintain internal control standards through fraud protection, credit monitoring and approving team Know Your Customer (KYC) requests

What we're looking for
  • Bring substantial experience in corporate banking with exposure to international banking needs
  • Demonstrate experience identifying customer needs and matching a broad range of products and services to deliver effective solutions
  • Apply a strong understanding of corporate banking products and solutions including navigating cross-border complexity
  • Produce high-quality financial, credit and profitability analysis to support client decisions and credit processes
  • Apply established credit assessment skills and portfolio-based credit monitoring experience
  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and disciplined follow-through
  • Apply a strong understanding of customer due diligence and KYC including high-risk KYC
  • Meet applicable requirements to work in the U.S. with immigration sponsorship support available if required
