Scope

The Associate, Enterprise Performance reports to the Head of Enterprise Performance. This is a financial and management analysis and reporting role within Houlihan Lokey's newly formed Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function. FP&A serves as a strategic partner to business leadership, equipping them with the KPIs and analysis needed to drive decision-making, track performance against goals, and support the firm's growth.

Responsibilities
  • Map revenue and sales pipeline data across Corporate Finance, Financial Restructuring, and Financial & Valuation Advisory to identify and standardize inconsistent formats, metrics, and definitions.
  • Lead scoping and execution to consolidate non-compensation expense data from Oracle and adjacent financial systems, establishing unified data structures for core operating costs.
  • Rebuild enterprise reporting dashboards, utilizing existing Corporate Finance models as standard content templates to achieve consistent performance coverage across all three business units.
  • Support the end-to-end execution of the annual budget build and quarterly forecasting process.
  • Design and implement self-service reporting models to enable automated, ad-hoc performance tracking across executive leadership and business unit stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications
  • 4+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or closely adjacent analytics within a finance-intensive environment.
  • Solid understanding of core accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, with demonstrated experience querying, transforming, and harmonizing data across complex or fragmented source systems.
  • Advanced, modeling-grade Excel skills, with the ability to build, audit, and maintain complex quantitative and financial models.
  • Practical experience building reports and dashboards in Sigma or comparable modern BI/analytics platforms.
  • Comfort operating in high-ambiguity data environments, with a track record of building reconciliation across multiple data sources.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Direct experience with Oracle ERP/Financials, including its reporting limitations.
  • Hands-on exposure to fee-based or deal-based revenue models, typical of investment banking, financial advisory, or professional services firms.
  • Proven track record of building analytics infrastructure, reporting frameworks, or financial models from scratch, rather than solely maintaining legacy tools.
