The Impact you will have in this role:

The Technology Investment Strategy team plays a pivotal role in driving strategic alignment and governance across all Technology Products and Services.

Their mission is to ensure that the technology budget supports long-term organizational success by aligning investments with enterprise-wide strategic priorities. This is accomplished through close collaboration with IT leaders and stakeholders in CPS, FP&A, NIO, and HR. In 2025, the team is focused on key initiatives including revamping technology vendor management, enforcing operational accountability in workforce strategy, advancing service governance through enhanced reviews, launching SBA and IT portfolio governance for spend transparency, and expanding the services data repository to support strategic decision-making.

Their core services include biannual service reviews, strategic vendor alignment via workforce strategy, regular workforce strategy updates to IT leadership, robust portfolio and SBA governance, and transparent services data aligned to business needs.

Your Primary Responsibilities:
  • Multiple capability offerings across multiple platforms (Mainframe, Private, and Public Cloud) to targeted capability offerings on Public Cloud
  • Our Service Governance approach must transform to ensure this journey is successful through ongoing monitoring of progress towards our targeted capability offerings
  • Provide cost transparency and identify investment priorities to support future capabilities and modernization efforts
  • Assess vendor changes required, as well as when existing vendors can be offboarded
  • Review workforce skill sets needed in future state
  • Track volume shifts to the new capabilities
  • Track and monitor performance and risk of new and legacy capabilities

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Talents Needed for Success:
  • Knowledge of the TBM Framework
  • Knowledge of IT Financial Management, specifically related to IT Service financials
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to easily navigate large data sets, and be able to identify trends, issues, and opportunity areas quickly and efficiently
  • Data analysis and problem-solving skills as well as strong organizational and data management skills
  • Agile Mindset: ability to multi-task and attention to detail is a must
  • Work collaboratively by building consensus and influencing decision making to foster forward progress with projects

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations. DTCC Solutions delivers information-based and business processing solutions to financial intermediaries globally.

As part of DTCC Solutions, the Business Risk Management (BRM) team works closely with the business, technology and control functions, as well as BRM staff, to identify, measure, monitor, control and escalate risks for assigned Solutions business(es). BRM develops deep and broad product and risk knowledge necessary to effectively measure and manage risk and works in collaboration with senior management to manage these risks within defined risk tolerances, as approved by the Board and senior management.
