Working HoursPosition Summary Roosevelt University Financial Aid Services is seeking an Associate Director of Financial Aid Systems within the Office of Financial Aid Services. The Office of Financial Aid Services administers financial aid for Roosevelt University's undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students and plays a critical role in supporting student access, success, and institutional enrollment goals.
The Associate Director of Financial Aid Systems is responsible for the hands-on administration and continuous improvement of the University's Banner Financial Aid module and related financial aid technologies. This position serves as the lead technical expert for Banner Financial Aid and manages system setup, configuration, upgrades, testing, troubleshooting, integrations, reporting, and compliance-related processes.
The Associate Director works collaboratively with Financial Aid, Enrollment Management, Information Technology, Student Accounts, and external agencies to ensure accurate financial aid processing, data integrity, regulatory compliance, and efficient system performance. The role also leads reporting and analytics efforts, develops process automation solutions, and drives technology enhancements that improve service delivery, support enrollment objectives, and strengthen the student experience.
This position may be based at either Roosevelt University's Chicago or Schaumburg campus. It is a hybrid position, requiring on-campus presence a minimum of three days per week.

The salary range for this position is $85,000-$88,000
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required - Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of five years of experience administering or supporting Ellucian Banner
- Experience with databases, reporting tools, and emerging technologies within higher education.

- Demonstrated project management skills, including experience supporting system implementations, conversions, or major upgrades.
- Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated commitment to data integrity and validation in complex systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong customer service orientation and experience working with diverse stakeholders.
- Programming and data integration experience.
- Experience providing administrative or programmatic support within an enrollment, financial aid, or student services context

Working Conditions Normal climate-controlled office environment is provided. Job is largely sedentary, but there is a need to move about the office and buildings frequently.

Duty and Responsibility Financial Aid Systems Leadership & Strategy:- Provides oversight and leadership for the financial aid management system, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities and enrollment strategies.
- Serves as Financial Aid Functional Lead, acting as liaison with Roosevelt's Information Technology team and primary point of contact for financial aid systems processes, data, and reporting for external departments.
- Leads planning for the Ellucian Banner financial aid roadmap, including monitoring, testing, reporting, and coordination of software updates and upgrades.
- Collaborates with enrollment management leadership and systems leads in other enrollment units to align financial aid technology with broader university objectives.

Duty and Responsibility Data, Reporting & Compliance: - Develops data-driven insights and ensures accurate financial aid reporting for federal, state, and institutional compliance.
- Manages creation of reports and survey data by developing queries, producing reports for financial aid staff and administrative offices, and ensuring data integrity for federal, state, institutional, and audit reporting.
- Serves as a key resource for internal and external auditors by ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability of reported data.
