By considering the emotional, social, and sensory aspects of an experience, Experience Designers aim to create memorable and impactful moments that leave lasting impressions.
As an Associate Director of Experience Design at Kyndryl Vital US, you will lead the overall design vision for complex client projects, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-impact design solutions. You will develop design strategies that align with customer business goals and integrate them into broader technology and innovation strategies. You will manage and mentor junior design team members, providing coaching and guidance to elevate team skills and performance. You will build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, ensuring that the design direction is in line with their strategic vision. You will drive design thinking across the organization, advocating for the integration of design principles in all stages of project delivery.
You will shape organizational strategy for AI adoption in design, influencing process and culture. You'll ensure design teams are proficient in AI and understand its ethical implications, guiding the development of frameworks for human/AI interaction and prioritizing human-in-the-loop. You'll advocate for responsible AI use in client engagements and internal practices, empowering others to excel in AI-driven design by setting clear standards and fostering a culture of continuous learning and adoption.

The base compensation range for the position in the U.S. is -$143,640 to $273,000based on a full-time schedule reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Kyndryl, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.
Your actual compensation may vary depending on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction, including, but not limited to, geography, relevant job-related skills, education and experience, certification and licenses, internal pay equity, and market and business consideration.
The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
