This role leads brand analytics, evolves commercial KPIs, and builds scalable reporting and data products that deliver faster insights and support data-driven decision making. The Associate Director will play a key role in connecting commercial performance with customer insights, competitive landscape, and brand strategy while helping shape standardized analytics capabilities as Genmab expands across new therapeutic areas in the U.S. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role that requires strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills, along with a passion for turning data into business impact.

Work arrangement: This role offers flexibility to work away from the office for 20%-40% of a typical schedule. Employees may use this work schedule in increments of single days or multiple consecutive days, provided it does not exceed 40% within a 60-day period, and is approved by the hiring manager.

Responsibilities
• Lead U.S. Epkinly brand analytics, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly business performance reporting, delivering insights from secondary data sources such as sales demand, claims, GPO, CRM, and other commercial datasets.
• Own the development, evolution, and governance of commercial KPIs and dashboards, ensuring metrics not only measure performance but identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
• Partner closely with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Field, and Commercial leadership to translate complex quantitative analyses into clear, actionable business insights and recommendations.
• Apply strong business acumen and critical thinking to connect commercial performance with brand strategy, customer behavior, competitive dynamics, and areas of opportunity.
• Partner within Business Operations (e.g., Field Operations, Data & Technology) to ensure analytics capabilities, reporting, and data assets align with business priorities and support data-driven decision making.
• Drive the development of scalable data products, automated reporting, and self-service analytics that improve speed to insight, reduce manual effort, and enable the commercial organization to answer business questions more efficiently.
• Lead and manage offshore analytics resources, ensuring recurring business questions are translated into standardized, reproducible analytics and reporting solutions.
• Support annual brand planning, launch readiness, and strategic business reviews by providing analytical perspectives that inform commercial decision making.
• Thrive in a hands-on environment by independently conducting analyses, synthesizing findings, and communicating recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in commercial analytics, business insights, market analytics, or a related function within the biopharmaceutical industry; oncology and/or hematology experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage different data sources (e.g., claims, GPO, sales demand, CRM, syndicated data) to generate actionable business insights that influence commercial strategy.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with strong proficiency in SQL and experience using open-source languages (R and/or Python) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
• Proven experience developing KPIs, dashboards, automated reporting, or scalable data products that enable data-driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to synthesize complex analyses into clear recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
• Collaborative mindset with demonstrated success partnering across Marketing, Medical Affairs, Field, Business Operations, Data & Technology, and cross-functional commercial teams.
• Experience leading analytics initiatives and coordinating cross-functional and/or offshore resources to deliver high-quality, reproducible analytics solutions.
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a hands-on approach to problem solving, continuous improvement, and execution.
• Alliance, co-promotion, or cross-company collaboration experience is a plus.
