YesWhat You'll Do- Assist in tracking, monitoring and analyzing Development Division project budgets
- Assist in preparing project cost proposals and project business plans (cash flow requirements, equity investments requirements, program funding requirements, operating pro-forma, etc.)
- Assist in the creation and monitoring of project schedules
- Assist in the contract administration of development partner agreements
- Develop and managing proposal calls
- Coordinate consultant teams
- Prepare documentation and monitoring requirements to secure funding for affordable housing construction and ownership
- Assist in the development of partnerships with local businesses, developers, senior levels of government, business associations and related agencies
- Coordinate with other TCHC Divisions to support revitalization initiatives
- Assist with identifying new revitalization sites, acquisition and property disposals to maximize value to the corporation and achieve corporate objectives
- Support the relocation of TCHC residents during the revitalization process
- Support local community agencies in the revitalization process
- Review consultant reports prior to submittal to senior management/City staff
- Report on feasibility studies in support of revitalization activities
- Plan and execute public and community-based meetings, workshops, focus groups, etc.
- Collaborate with revitalization stakeholder groups and participate in one-on-one meetings with stakeholders on TCHC's behalf
- Design and lead project tours for stakeholders
What You'll Need- Post-secondary degree in Planning or Architecture or related degree
- 3 years of experience in land use planning and/or real estate development
- Knowledge of policies affecting land use planning and development in the Greater Toronto region (e.g., Provincial Policy Statement, Growth Plan, Official Plan, Zoning by-laws, etc.)
- Knowledge of relevant policies and legislation related to rental housing (e.g., Residential Tenancies Act)
- Knowledge of trends in the real estate industry
- Proven experience in community development
