Full Job Description
The Raleigh, North Carolina office of Hall Booth Smith, P.C. is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Health Care and Professional Liability team. This position focuses on defending health care providers in civil litigation matters and providing representation before professional licensing boards.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing office, work alongside experienced litigators, contribute to case strategy and development, and build meaningful relationships with firm clients. The ideal candidate will be a motivated team player with strong litigation, writing, and advocacy skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3+ years of civil litigation experience or comparable experience in medical malpractice or professional liability
  • Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
  • Excellent judgment, communication skills, and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients
  • Trial experience preferred, but not required
  • Active membership in good standing with the North Carolina Bar required; Virginia Bar admission is a plus

Compensation & Benefits:
Salary ranges from $130,000 to $150,000, commensurate with experience. HBS offers a comprehensive benefits package, including eligibility for both subjective and objective bonus opportunities.
