Job DescriptionAssociate Director, Global Marketing Engagement, DHHThe Associate Director, Global Marketing Engagement (GME), DHH will be responsible for developing and delivering data and analytics, generating strategic insights, and addressing US new productglobal marketing teams' business questions to inform pharma pipeline investments, a successful go-to-market strategy, launch planning activities, and portfolio-level commercial assessments. y and creating synergies with the book of work for global brand leads. Furthermore, the team member will partner closely with global marketing, US market engagement, regional market engagement, clinical and discovery, finance, IT & enterprise strategy teams to inform executive decision making through analytics support for clinical development, business development and alliances/partnerships decisions.
Reporting to the Director of GME Pharma within DHH, this role will leadsupport the implementation and continuous enhancement of scalable analytics capabilities and commercial frameworks to strengthen data-driven decision making development of analytics capabilities for the pharma pipeline. The team member will help establish a set of analyticsensure these capabilities are anchored to our early commercial marketing framework to shape franchise strategy and proactively "connect the dots" across DHH cross functional teams. The Associate Director will also be responsible to support concrete recommendations and communicate on-going risk/benefit against standardized commercial metrics. Reporting to the Director of GME Pharma within DHH, this role will lead development of analytics capabilities for the pharma pipeline.
The successful team member will partner closely across DHH capability functions such as market research, forecasting, payer insights & analytics, data strategy, data solutions, product owners for scaled analytical capabilities. They will also and engage with vendor partners to develop accelerators. This role will require interfacing and collaborating with multiple teams which may not share the same reporting line. The candidate needs to have demonstrated consistent leadership skills and have led cross functional teams in their prior roles, demonstrated the ability to create a strong sense of team culture and embody a culture of continuous learning. Effective communication skills are essential to be successful.
Primary Responsibilities:- Commercial Analytics: Develop commercial insights solutions - market understanding, patient journey, physician segmentation, market mapping, patient funnel development and validation,s & and analogue benchmarking to support decision making for the pharma pipeline and business development, utilizing deep data driven secondary data analytics for the US markets. The candidate will be responsible for translating complex secondary data, market research, and commercial intelligence into actionable business recommendations
- Stakeholder Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing teams, operations, forecasting, market research, payer analytics, data strategy, and clinical teams to inform strategic reviews and launch readiness activities, and increase commercial rigor through all phases of pipeline asset development.

- Communication and Transparency: Develop executive-ready materials and communicate key analytical findings, risks, opportunities, and recommendations to business stakeholders.
- Provide marketing teams, and governance committees, transparency, and commercial insights on pipeline portfolio on topics related to market dynamics, competitive insights, patient journeys, access considerations amongst others.
- Analytics Program Leadership: Lead execution of complex, cross-functional analytics initiatives across pipeline and launch assets, ensuring alignment of stakeholders, timelines, deliverables, budgets, and external partners. Coordinate internal teams and vendor partners to deliver high-quality analytics and insights that support business priorities and strategic decision making.
- Analytics and Benchmarking: Lead benchmarking analytics to collect, analyze, and translate insights into recommended business actions to inform pipeline development choices. Provide critical insights to leaders for communication on human health portfolio, early pipeline commercial forecasts and related business drivers.
Required Experience and Skills:- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a scientific, business, engineering, or business-scientific-related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business insights, outcomes research, advanced analytics, asset portfolio management, strategic planning, insights syndication or related roles within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
- Strategic thinker who can be consultative and "engage as equals."
- Strong communication skills using effective storytelling grounded on data insights.
- Ability to execute solution-based approaches to complex and ambiguous business problems.
- Understanding of Real-world data assets (claims, EMR, syndicated datasets, etc.) and the commercial pharma data ecosystem
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both internal and external stakeholders
- Relationship-building and influencing skills with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Experience managing complex cross-functional projects and stakeholders within a matrixed organization.
- Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Experience and Skills:- Experience in healthcare data, insights, and analytics
- Experience in Life Sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or consulting industries
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, PharmD, PhD) preferred
- Therapeutic area experience in Immunology (Rheumatology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology) or Cardio-metabolic (PCSK9 market) preferred
- Experience supporting launch planning, commercialization strategy, forecasting, or portfolio planning preferred
- Experience supporting pharmaceutical assets across multiple stages of development, from early pipeline through commercialization preferred
- Experience with patient journey analytics, market sizing, competitive intelligence, and commercial opportunity assessments preferred
- Experience in Life Science or consulting industry
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, PharmD, PhD) preferred.
- Therapeutic area experience in cardiovascular & metabolic diseases preferred.
- US secondary data assets such as claims, EMR, SP/SD etc.
