Full Job Description
Assistant Vice President, Cyber Solutions - PE

This is a hybrid role to work from our Chicago, IL office.

What the day will look like
  • Work with teams across Cyber Solutions, Commercial Risk Solutions, and various countries and regions. Collaborate with CyQu and Analytics teams to deliver market leading analytics for PE Firms.
  • Responsible for coordinating every facet of the team's book of business and directing team resources in delivering client support and prospect development
  • Responsible for the development of every member of the group, including remediation of performance and management issues within the team
  • Work closely with AMATS Leadership in the buildout of the coordinated PE/M&A Vertical.
  • Accountable for coordinating intra-team relationships to ensure effective, efficient and respectful relationship(s) among all team members
  • Optimally connect with all Aon account personnel to ensure consistent and seamless delivery of service to Aon clients and to identify and exploit areas for improvement or account growth
  • Demonstrate detailed knowledge of the Cyber and Errors & Omissions insurance market as well as our team's offerings and solutions
  • Demonstrate ability to place a layered program ($300M+) from start to finish
  • Own all aspects of client service for your assigned book of business and new business opportunities alongside colleagues using the deal flow process. Communicate effectively with colleagues and administrative staff to ensure accurate prioritization of workflow.
  • Apply effective negotiation skills to improve broking results for clients
  • Use data, own experience, others' perspectives, and a clear methodology improve client programs and create opportunities with prospective client programs
  • Provide broking status and continuous proactive service to clients throughout the entire negotiation and entire period of engagement by client
  • Work in an Aon United fashion to cross-sell Cyber Solutions products and services
  • Effectively use the claims and legal advocacy group for claim administration and counsel to assist with claim resolution
  • Proactively develop and complete a pipeline strategy for new business
  • Act as a mentor to more junior team members
  • Drive utilization of all available technology throughout broking process and client service process
  • Replicate effective products/solutions and develop broking opportunities
  • Understand the causes of E&O and avoid and adopt practices to reduce exposure

Joining an industry-leading group, you will support client success by delivering effective solutions within our Cyber Solutions insurance brokerage team at Aon. The Private Equity Cyber Insurance Team works with Sponsors to structure, manage and support Cyber Insurance Portfolio Programs, M&A and claims connected to PE backed risks.

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $105,000 - $150,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Illinois. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
