Allgood Home Services, in partnership with American Residential Services (ARS) is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to coach HVAC Opportunity Technicians, improve the handoff to our Comfort Advisors, and support the Sales Manager with daily sales operations.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
Coach Opportunity Technicians on identifying customer needs, documenting findings, and explaining repair and replacement options.
Review service calls, opportunity tickets, photos, and recommendations to improve lead quality and customer communication.
Manage technician schedules and conduct meetings, call reviews, training, and performance coaching.
Improve the handoff between Opportunity Technicians, Lead Coordinators, and Comfort Advisors.
Assist with Comfort Advisor onboarding, training, lead management, and sales team coverage when the Sales Manager is unavailable.
Help Comfort Advisors with phone closing, follow-up, and challenging customer situations.
Monitor lead flow and help distribute opportunities based on customer needs, team capacity, and business requirements.
Use sales and operational metrics to identify performance gaps and improve conversion.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
HVAC industry experience strongly preferred.
Previous sales leadership, service leadership, or field supervisory experience preferred.
Understanding of residential HVAC service and replacement sales.
Experience coaching technicians, sales professionals, or both.
Ability to use performance metrics to guide coaching and improve results.
Strong communication, organization, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
