Brailsford & Dunlavey (B&D), which now includes Project Management Advisors (PMA), is seeking a Project Manager to join our team in San Fransico.

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support the planning, design, and construction of a diverse portfolio of facilities and real estate projects, working closely with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and project teams. The initial focus for this role will be on Life Sciences projects, with opportunities to gain exposure to a variety of project types and sectors. You will contribute throughout the project lifecycle while developing your project management, technical, and client-facing skills.
How You'll Contribute - Support project teams throughout the planning, design, and construction process
- Assist with the coordination of project activities to ensure alignment with client objectives, schedules, budgets, and contractual requirements
- Support the development, monitoring, and maintenance of project budgets, schedules, and reporting tools
- Assist with project cost, schedule, and risk analysis and help identify potential impacts and mitigation strategies
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders to support successful project delivery
- Review architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, bid documents, and other project documentation
- Support procurement activities, including the coordination of design, construction, and consultant services
- Assist with contract development, review, administration, and related project documentation
- Participate in project meetings, document action items, and follow up with stakeholders to drive accountability
- Assist with the review of potential changes to project budgets and schedules
- Support value engineering discussions and evaluation of alternative solutions
- Maintain project open-item lists and follow up on outstanding issues
- Monitor construction activities through site observations, job walks, field reports, and other project controls
- Assist with identifying and reporting construction, safety, quality, schedule, and coordination issues
- Support project closeout activities and successful turnover to the client
- Develop strong working relationships with clients and project stakeholders while contributing to a collaborative team environment
What We're Looking For - 3+ years of project management, development, construction management, or related experience
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Real Estate, or a related field
- Experience supporting the delivery of complex facilities or real estate projects
- Strong understanding of design, construction, and project management processes
- Experience supporting project budgets, schedules, contracts, and project controls
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering documentation
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clients and multidisciplinary project teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, client-focused environment

This role's target base annual salary range is currently $70,000-$110,000. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, relevant education, experience, certifications, candidate abilities, and pay relative to other team members.
