Description

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Anesthesiology with a focus on Pediatric Anesthesiology. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. ABA certification with subspecialty certification, the equivalent, or board eligibility in Pediatric Anesthesiology or status as a candidate in the examination system, along with ability to obtain a Pennsylvania license, is required.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching both in our formal didactic lecture program as well as in the informal teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows in the Operating Rooms.

Clinical responsibilities may include direct patient care and medical direction in the Operating Rooms.

Primary practice is located at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and King of Prussia campuses. Experience in pediatric anesthesiology and teaching of residents and fellows required.
