Summary

About the Role:

The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) directly reports to the department Manager. Clinically and administratively supports the team. Monitors staffing and scheduling, develops a state of constant readiness for regulatory agencies, is actively engaged in patient satisfaction improvement/stabilization, and improvement of departmental efficiencies. Other duties/responsibilities as assigned.

Key Responsibilities: As an RN Assistant Nurse Manager with the Inpatient Psychiatric dept at Sinai Hospital, you will:
  • Manage the daily operations and flow
  • Manage and engage team building and performance
  • Complete administrative tasks as assigned

This is a Full-time Evening/Night shift position that will be scheduled as hours vary based on dept. needs.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN) required
  • 1 year of formal nursing leadership experience is required
  • 1-3 years of relevant Inpatient Psych RN experience required
  • Maryland Registered Nurse License, American Heart Association BLS Certification
  • Must be a member of a Professional Organization
