ASSISTANT DIRECTOR FOR SPONSORED PROGRAMS, Student Financial Services (SFS) , manages the billing and payment posting of sponsor billing for third-party payers, including all military programs. The Assistant Director serves as the backup School Certifying Official (SCO) for Veteran's Benefit educational programs. The Assistant Director assists with the management and oversight of SFS operations, as well as providing backup for payment processing and daily cashiering.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED : Bachelor's degree; five years of progressively responsible experience in student accounts and program administration; self-motivated individual who will require minimal supervision and is expected to exercise independent judgment; ability to read, understand, interpret and apply Institute, federal, and state rules and regulations; ability to gain cooperation from others to accomplish goals and facilitates win-win situations; high level of personal integrity, discretion and judgment in handling personal, financial and sometimes medical information of a confidential nature; excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and presentation skills; proven ability to set work priorities and manage workload in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment; strong organization, counseling, analytical, financial and technical skills; and accountable for own work and for building customer confidence in SFS and the Institute as a whole.
